ASHTANGA VINYASA YOGA COURSE
PRESENCE YOGA
5 WORKSHOPS COVERING ALL ASPECT OF THE PRIMARY SERIES
This course is designed for those new to the Ashtanga practice.
We will be covering in detail the Ujjayi Breath, the Bandahas and the modifications and variations of all the postures in the series. Emphasis will be placed on the Sun Salutations as the entire Practice is built on these movements.
Jump backs and Jump through will also be a focus, and how to build a strong foundation to enable this to eventually happen.
The essence of this practice is the Tristhana – the ability to harmonize the Breath with Movement and Focus, its not about how good you are doing postures, that will come with proper practice over time.
This is a Vinyasa Yoga which simply means Flow.
All participants in this course will be able to follow a Full Ashtanga Primary Series class with confidence and ease.
